Visual Basic merupakan salah satu bahasa pemrograman computer yang dikembangkan oleh Microsoft sejak tahun 1991, yang merupakan pengembangan dari pendahulunya yaitu bahasa pemrograman BASIC (Beginner’s All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code) yang dikembangkan pada era 1950-an.
